About Maggie + Chuck Odette:

Throughout their almost 75 combined years of climbing experience, Chuck and Maggie Odette have focused on redpointing hard sport routes, climbing at their limits and diving deep into the process. Chuck set a likely world record when he sent 5.14b at the age of 64!

About AARP:

Being “older than the hills, and twice as dusty” is no excuse for compromising your climbing performance! Come hang out with Chuck and Maggie Odette to talk about how to employ the wisdom that only comes with age to select your projects, then work them smartly and safely, using tactics to help shortcut the process–while still having time to read your AARP Bulletin and organize all your meds. Younger people with old souls are welcome to join the seniors, as well!

Prerequisites:

All skill levels welcome.

Gear Requirements:

  • Personal Gear (harness, shoes, helmet)

  • Water, snacks

  • Sun protection 

  • Rope + Draws if you have them (not required)
