Saturday Climbing Clinic
City Park, Lander, Wyoming
Saturday, July 12, 2025 - 8am-4pm

About Mark Evans, Greg Troutman and Shingo Ohkawa:
Mark Evans is a climber, cobbler, photographer, and human. He has been climbing for 25 years, working with Edelrid for the past 9 years. Keeping it loud and weird for the past 42.
Greg Troutman has been climbing for 17 years. He's especially drawn to long, adventurous multipitch routes. Over the years he's put up new routes ranging from single-pitch sport climbs to 1,200-foot walls and unclimbed towers in places like the Southern Utah desert and the Wind River Range. While he enjoys all styles of climbing, he's most inspired by the process of exploring and developing routes in remote areas.
Thank you to Edelrid for sponsoring this clinic!
About Backcountry Multipitch Trad Climbing:
Our ground school will focus on tackling longer routes, in more remote settings, with confidence. With tips to optimize safety, speed, and enjoyment in the mountains, we’ll show you ways to get the most out of the gear you’ve got, and how to get you and your partners up, and down—including when it doesn’t go as planned, but more on how to avoid those situations!
