Stewardship Saturday: Heavy Metal Rock Band Belay Platform Project

Help us turn up the volume on stewardship at one of Sinks Canyon’s most beloved climbing zones—Heavy Metal Rock Band. Join WyoClimbers, The Access Fund, and the local Forest Service to build and improve belay platforms that will enhance safety, reduce erosion, and support long-term sustainability of the area.

Meet at the WyoClimbers booth at 8:30AM sharp to coordinate carpooling to the trailhead. The hike in is about 25 minutes, and the work will be moderate to strenuous, so come prepared to sweat a little and feel good about giving back.
